Blue Bottle Coffee
This relatively young coffee shop chain has been taking the world by storm. For their newest San Francisco location, they wanted to create a focal point in their store to draw customers to their merchandise.
Architectural Plastics was approached to help design and make a “light cubby” out of acrylic to hold their products. The original design included cumbersome stainless steel hardware and a difficult installation concept. The Architectural Plastics design team created a seamless cubby system, free of hardware, with an integrated light diffuser to make installation simpler.
This minimal design was a big hit with the Blue Bottle Coffee team and a standout for the store.
